While the US dollar was supposed to lose ground against its counter parties, the market has remained surprisingly stubborn and trapped in a sideways trading range since June. The Monthly, Weekly and Daily signals are all negative from October, 2007 to July 2008. From there the dollar increased slightly until July, 2009, where it set on a horizontal trading path.

In the video today, we will explore what is going on and where we think this market is headed in the future.

I was quite amazed when I looked back to see how long it’s been since a Dollar Index (NYBOT_DX) video was put together. I had to look back to September of 2008 to find the last series of videos that were done specifically for the Dollar Index and it proved to be successful.
